Fine, but nothing special. Stuff kind. The steak could be more soft.

The LaLuna steakhouse is located at a sidestreet, not in the common main streets! It was a pleasure to eat there! Very very friendly service and good food. Various starters and great steaks. I recommend to take a look at the wine list, they even give you wines to test. We celebrated a birthday there and they sang happy birthday and brought candles to blow out! Everytime again :)

I had googled this place before hand. Making sure it had what I was looking for. This place is located in a very touristy area. However I went on a Sunday and it was very quiet and calm. They were super nice and accommodating. When I grabbed my phone they came over and offered me the wifi password. They did’t rush me. They have a very family based vibe going on. Which I truly enjoyed. The steak was amazing! However I ordered a medium rare rib eye and when I cut into it I swear I heard it moo. It was more black and blue. I had to send it back to get it cooked for longer. I have zero complaints about this place. If you want great service and amazing food go here!

It was very good food. However it was super full (I guess due to the very good TripAdvisor rating) and as it was weekend. There where not enough menu's so everything took some time. Can recommend the place but bring time and you need to reserve in advance.

Having visited the restaurant once we returned. The food is great - no complaints. The service is not great though and we had to ask repeatedly for the bill on both occasions. Also it's a small restaurant and I was constantly knocked by the staff walking past thr table which was memorable and left me annoyed. If it happened 50 times it wouldn't be an exaggeration. My advice is find a corner table to enjoy your dining

I Ordered the 400g Argentina Sirloin medium rare steak, it was fabulous done to my requirements, it was a very big steak so be careful when ordering, staff were more than helpful when ordering with helpful recommendations, definitely will come back.

I was very happy to discover this place. The food was really good, the attention from the staff was superb and in general I enjoyed a lot the place, the food and the ambiance. Perfect place for a nice dinner with your significant other.Only downside of the place, and this is very common in Amsterdam, is that the place is very narrow and if it's full you might feel a bit claustrophobic. The food was as authentic Argentinian as you can get being 10.000 km away from Argentina. The empanadillas were home made, the wine was a fine selection from Spain and Argentina and the meat was very nice. That the portions were bigger and more in Argentinian style it wouldn't hurt neither.

Located in a tourist funnel at 30 meters from Leidseplein, the place is calm on a Monday evening.It is welcoming and clean.The WC is clean.The food quality is fine.The meat was well cooked.The chicken wings were tasty.The hamburger is not their best dish.The salads are average.The sauces are pricy and regular.The portions are just right.The presentation is homey.The waiter is kind.The prices are high, considering the above.Okay experience. For one visit it is fine. With the same quality I will only go back if the prices drop.

Best steakhouse in Amsterdam ever my 2nd visit to Holland so went out my way by 24miles (38km) to eat here amazing welcoming by the staff

We went to this place with a group of students, the owner tried to charge us for more than we ordered, the prices in general are way too expensive. When we asked for a split check the owner got really rude and started yelling at us. Be careful going there, they'll try to take every single penny you got. Would NOT recommend!

Visiting Amsterdam for my 40th Birthday, I ate here with my partner after using Google Maps info for ideas. We weren't let down!Our steaks were fabulous and cooked just the way we liked them (mine was served with a 'flamethrower' as it was my Birthday - see photo!)The host and waiting staff were very attentive and have a great personality and sense of humour, which made for an excellent end to my special day.I would love to return here again in the future

Very good place.Here you can get a quality South American meat and starters. The empanadas with vegetables are delicious!The fillet steak was made in almost perfect way, (a bit stiff), but delicious. We had a very good and kind service, and the staff really tries to help you choose the best dish for you.Had a really good night. Very recommended. 😊

The 300g argentinian filet steak was great. We were there on Sunday and only a third of the retaurant was busy, so it was quite and relaxing. Staff was friendly and can I say again that the steak was AWESOME!?? 😃

Went back here to celebrate our daughters birthday. It is the real Argentinian experience (we know), real Argentine food, wine and culture, this night there was live Argentinian music, very good.

I ask the clerk if the restaurant was open, he told me the kitchen was open but the restaurant was not. Wtf

Meal was amazing, but the service was horrible. Waiter said he would be back in 2 minutes to take our order, but he took almost 1 hr to acknowledge us again (place wasn't even packed).

Wonderful find. Romantic “hole in the wall” atmosphere with the friendliest staff in Amsterdam. And the MEAT... succulent, tender and cooked to perfection. Cannot say enough good things about this place. First impression was a bit sketchy but they quickly put us at ease and delivered a high quality experience. Highly recommend if you are seeking a sanctuary of comfort food...

Great steaks and starters, nice atmosphere, but it is customary after you pay the bill if you are offered coffee, that the coffee is on the house, but not in this restaurant.
